  • Histology of the Zymbal’s Gland in Different Aged SD Rats on Safety Evaluation of Preclinical Drugs

    目的:探讨大鼠外耳道腺的正常组织结构及年龄组间,雌雄动物间有无差异,以期为药物评价过程中药物对耳腺影响的评价提供客观的依据。方法:将20只同龄SD大鼠随即分为A和B两组,每组均雌雄各半,分别与12周和17周龄处死,取外耳道腺进行病理学分析。观察外耳道腺在不同年龄组间、雌雄组间有无区别。结果:A组动物雌雄组间外耳道腺的组织结构无明显差异。B组动物雌雄动物间外耳道腺的组织结构无明显差异。A组雌性动物与B组雌性动物间外耳道腺的组织结构无明显差异。A组雄性动物与B组雄性动物间外耳道腺的组织结构无明显差异。结论:SD大鼠外耳道腺的组织结构在雌雄动物间及年龄在12周及17周间无明显差异,因此在进行药物对耳腺的影响的评价过程中12周龄和17周龄的受试大鼠所得到的结果应具备可比性。

  • Analysis of the Use of Antibacterials Application for Inpatients

    目的 了解我院住院患者抗菌药物的临床应用现状及存在问题,为临床合理使用抗菌药物提供参考。 方法 采用回顾性调查方法,对本院2008年11月-2009年4月的出院病历资料进行统计、分析。 结果 共调查病历1 000份,抗菌药物总使用率58.70%;其中预防用药使用率62.35%,治疗用药使用率37.65%;联合用药的比例为37.31%;不合理用药占19.76%。 结论 抗菌药物使用率较高,且使用存在一些不合理现象。医院应加强监管,对存在的问题应制订相应措施。

  • To Study the Roles of Quantum Blood Therapy in the Treatment of Gastric Ulcers

    摘要:目的:探讨量子血液疗法在胃溃疡治疗中的作用。方法:114例胃溃疡患者随机分为治疗组和对照组。治疗组60例,对照组54例。疗程均为4周。结果:经临床症状缓解,HP阴转及胃镜和病理复查的比较,治疗组总有效率99%,对照组总有效率为78%。经统计学处理,治疗组效果明显优于对照组(Plt;001)。结论:量子血液疗法对胃溃疡有肯定的辅助治疗作用。

  • THE INFLUENCE FROM DRUG PERFUSION ON ALLOGRAFT OF CANINE SKIN

    The canine saphaneous skin flap was used as a model in this experiment. The cutaneous autograft would give long-term survival, whereas the allograft without pretreatment would only survive 10. 2±1.9 days from its transplantation. If the pretreatment consisted of the use of immunosuppressive agent as PHA or infusion of dexamesone, the survival days of the allografts could be prolonged to 15.1±2.5 and 13.7±2.8, respectively(Plt;0.01). The histological examination gave the evidence that drug perfusion delayed the rejection.

  • Long-term effect of suramin on the inhibition of proliferation of cultured human retinal pigment epithelial cells

    ObjectiveTo observe the longterm effect of suramin on the inhibition of proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells in vitro. MethodsRPE cells grown in 9 pieces of 96well plate (12 wells each plate) were divided into experimental and control group, with 6 wells in each group. The concentration of 0.1 ml RPE cells in each well is 5×104 cells/ml. After the change of the medium, RPE cells were treated with suramin (250 μg/ml) in experimental group while treated with nothing in the control group. The medium of the 2 groups were changed to the normal medium after 4 days. At the 1st, 2nd, and 4thday after the addition of suramin and at the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th , 11th and 13th day after removing suramin, 1 plate was randomly selected to stop culturing, and the proliferation of RPE cells were detected by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay. ResultsUnder reversed microscope, RPE cells in control group were fused completely at the 7th day after inoculation. The extracellular space of RPE cells in experimental groups was larger than that in the control group, and remained unfused at the 13th day after inoculation. The inhibitory rate of proliferation of RPE cells at the first day after treated with suramin was 14.85% and increased to the highest 25.79% at the 4th day. The first day after the suramincontaining media was removed, the inhibitory rate decreased to 12.35%, and then raised gradually to over 20% at the 3rd to 5th day. Finally, the rate drop to 14.71%. ConclusionSuramin has the long-term effect on the inhibition of RPE cells induced by serum, especially the inhibitive effect after the remove of suramin, which indicates the specific double-peak inhibition during the whole process.(Chin J Ocul Fundus Dis, 2005,21:25-27)

  • The effects of intervention with Tanakan on anterior ocular segment in diabetic retinopathy after retinal photocoagulation

    Purpose To investigate the effects of intervention with Tanakan on anterior ocular segment in diabetic retinopathy (DR) after retinal photocoagulation. Methods Prospective random controlled study was performed on 72 patients (72 eyes) with ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM),by obtaining and quantitatively analyzing the changes of anterior ocular segment including anterior chamber, anterior chamber angle, ciliary body and choroids before and the 3rd day and the 7th day after retinal photocoagulation. Results Three days after photocoagulation, significant elev ated IOP and narrowed chamber angle were observed in control group and 4 eyes (1 1.11%) in Tanakan group (Plt;0.01). Choroidal detachment in 32 eyes (88.89%) in control group and in 2 eyes (5.56%) in Tanakan group and the severity of ciliochoroidal detachment in tanakan group was significantly lower than that in control group. Conclusion Tanakan is effective to prevent the complications of anterior segment, such as ciliochoroidal detachment, elevation of IOP, narrowing of chamber angle occurring early after retinal photocoagulation and reduce the severity of ciliochoroidal detachment. (Chin J Ocul Fundus Dis, 2001,17:187-189)

  • Investigation of Antibacterial Drug Utilization in 661 Patients of Cholecystectomy

    目的 了解单纯胆囊切除术患者围手术期抗菌药物的使用情况及合理性,促进临床合理用药。 方法 对昆明医学院第二附属医院2004年7~9月期间出院的661例单纯胆囊切除术患者应用抗菌药物的合理性进行回顾性分析。结果 胆囊切除患者抗菌药物应用共涉及9大类39个品种,使用率为100%。预防用药380例(57.49%),其中单用38例(10.00%),平均用药6.55 d,平均住院时间10.79 d; 两联281例(73.95%),平均用药6.49 d,平均住院时间12.30 d; 三联57例(15.00%),平均用药6.52 d,平均住院时间11.75 d; 四联4例(1.05%),平均用药6.75 d,平均住院时间9.00 d。感染治疗281例(42.51%),其中单用10例(3.56%),平均用药9.60 d,平均住院时间15.10 d; 两联206例(73.31%),平均用药11.25 d,平均住院时间15.79 d; 三联56例(19.93%),平均用药15.23 d,平均住院时间15.23 d; 四联9例(3.20%),平均用药13.00 d,平均住院时间21.78 d。结论 单纯胆囊切除术患者抗菌药物使用存在一些不合理现象,应按围手术期给药方案进行。加强抗菌药物使用的管理和监督,不仅减少耐药菌株及不良反应的产生,而且对降低医药费用具有积极的意义。

  • STUDY ON IN VIRO DRUG DELIVERY AND REPAIRING LARGE SEGMENTAL INFECTEDBONY DEFECT WITH MASSIVE RECONSTITUTED BOVINE XENOGRAFT AIDED BY CALCIUM PHOSPHATE CEMENT DRUG CORE

    Objective To find out an effective technique torepair large segmental infected bony defect.Methods Calcium phosphate cement(CPC) incorporated with bone morphogenetic protein and gentamycin was embedded in the massive reconstituted bovine xenograft(MRBX), then CPC-MRBX was obtained after CPC’s solidification. In vivo test was applied to test the drug delivery capability of CPC-MRBX, in which it was implanted in the dorsal muscle pouch of 18 rabbits. The drug concentration of animal blood and surrounding soft tissue of the CPC-MRBX in the muscle pouch was measured 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 d after operation, 2 rabbits each time. Large segmental infected femur defect in the rabbit model was created to test the repairing capability of CPC-MRBX. External fixation was done 1.5~2.0 cm above the knee, the most adjacent nail to fracture site was 0.5~0.8 cm away, and proper pressure was applied to the graft. In experimental group(n=25), the bony defect was replaced by CPC-MRBX, while in the control group(n=15) dissected bone block was re-implanted in original position. The animal was subjected to radiographic, histological examination at 4, 8, 16 and 24 weeks. The general condition was observed after the operation.Results CPC-MRBX was easily made under normal temperature and pressure. In viro drug delivery test showed that the drug concentration of the tissue remainedabove the minimal inhibitory concentration of staphylococcus 30 d after operation and no significant increase of blood drug concentration was observed. In experimental group, no adverse influence was observed. Four weeks after operation, the animal could bear load, bony callus around the graft was observed by X-ray, and abundant chondral tissues that grew into CPC-MRBX were observed by histological method. Eight weeks after operation, progressively increasing bony callus around the graft was observed, external fixation could be removed, normal function was restored, and CPC was degenerated dramatically while new bone tissues were growing. Sixteen weeks after the operation, more new bone tissues grew and CPC was degenerated furtherly while marrow tissues were taking shape. Twenty-four weeks after the operation, femur healed completely and CPC was degenerated completely. In the control group, the autograft remained unhealedon X-ray at 4 weeks, and osteomyelitis manifestation such as inflammatory cells infiltration and osteolysis was detected at 4 weeks. All the animals in the control group died before the 8th week, 4 of which showed positive hemoculture.   • Milestone of cancer research: Hallmarks of Cancer

    Cancer remains a great challenge for mankind. The complex and diverse phenotypes, mechanisms, as well as therapeutic responsiveness of cancer have gradually been understood since the second half of the 20th century, which was a representative of entering the molecular era of oncology research. In 2000, the groundbreaking review “Hallmarks of Cancer” came out and it had been updated to the third version with 14 characteristics of cancer in 2022. These series of reviews helped to distil the increasingly complicated concepts of oncology into a logical science, which contributed to a more comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms for cancer genesis and development and applying the knowledges to the diagnosis and treatment of tumors. Mastering, applying, and exploring the hallmarks of cancer will help us face the challenges of cancer more confidently in the future.
